We’re changing our milk!

You can taste when something is better.
And you deserve better than ordinary.

So we made a change.

Starting today, EVERY drink with milk at Guest House will be made with LOCAL DAIRY from Kilgus Farmstead.
Whole milk, skim, half and half, even the whipped cream on top.

If you want to take it even further, you can upgrade: to Little Brown Cow Dairy, or try something you will not find just anywhere, our 5% milkfat whole milk from Kilgus. We are one of only a few shops offering it.

Here is what that means for you.
Richer flavor.
Better texture.
A drink that finally lives up to what coffee should be.

A quick note as you enjoy it. This milk is minimally processed, pasteurized but non homogenized. That means the cream naturally rises to the top. You may notice a velvety layer of cream or soft pearls and ribbons of richness throughout your drink. That is part of what makes it so special.

This is about more than milk.
It is about raising the standard.
It is about supporting local families.
It is about giving you an experience worth coming back for.

Come taste the difference.

Handmade Chocolates Are Back!

At Guest House, we love featuring brands with a story you can taste. That’s why we’re proud to serve Sayklly’s Chocolates.

It all started in 1906 when Joseph Sayklly, a Lebanese immigrant with a passion for quality, opened a small shop in Escanaba. He sold simple groceries, homemade ice cream, and handcrafted candy made the right way. One generation led to the next, and that same commitment to craftsmanship never wavered.

Over the decades, Sayklly’s grew, moved, and modernized, but the heart stayed the same. Family members poured their lives into the business, expanding production while protecting the recipes and standards that made Sayklly’s special in the first place.

Today, Sayklly’s continues under the ownership of Kevin Robitaille, someone who grew up inside the company and dreamed for years of leading it. His mission is simple: keep making exceptional chocolate that people love and trust.

When you choose Sayklly’s at Guest House, you’re not just enjoying great chocolate. You’re stepping into a story that’s been refined for over a century, rooted in tradition, and still made with care.

And honestly? That pairs pretty perfectly with a great cup of coffee.

Merry Christmas

At Christmas we are reminded of a promise that has carried generations through every season.
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given.
Isaiah 9:6

This verse speaks of hope, peace, and a Savior who stepped into our world to bring light where there was darkness. And while Christmas often feels busy and rushed, this simple truth brings us back to what matters most.

As you gather with family, share meals, exchange gifts, and make memories, we want you to know how grateful we are for you. Your kindness throughout the year helps us continue creating a place where people feel welcome, encouraged, and cared for.

Our role is to offer warmth, hospitality, and a place that feels like home. Your role is one you have embraced all year long. You show up. You choose local. You choose community.

Merry Christmas, Lincoln. We love you.
